Causapscal, the heart of tourism in the Matapedia valley

The name Causapscal comes from the Micmac word "Geosopsgiag", meaning a rocky point where the stones shine on the river bed. Situated at the intersection of the Matapedia and Causapscal rivers, 125 km east of Rimouski, and 60 km north of New Brunswick.
